About

VAEngineering is a young engineering company focused on electronics design, production, and end-product development. In a short period of time, they completed projects across a wide range of sectors, including consumer electronics, aerospace, healthcare, and industrial applications.

Technically, the company was strong. The company had strong technical expertise, but it wasn’t immediately clear for everyone what they actually did when someone encountered them for the first time.

Challange

VAEngineering did a lot of things at the same time, but the channels didn't fit together. Channels existed, but none of them clearly explained what the company actually stood for, who they were best suited for, or how their expertise translated into concrete value for potential clients. All of this was told in person.

When people came across VAEngineering on the internet, they usually needed extra explanation before understanding what the company did and whether it was relevant for them. They knew it was about technology but not what extra value they could get.

Objective

The idea was to get everything telling the same story and benefits, so people wouldn’t get a different impression online than they did in a conversation or at an event.

Every touchpoint needed to support the same message: what VAEngineering does, how they work, and why certain companies should talk to them.

Approach & strategy

Instead of treating each channel separately, the focus was on structure first.

We clarified how VAEngineering’s expertise should be presented, which industries required more context, and what information prospects needed before a conversation was meaningful. From there, execution followed naturally, always in service of that clarity.

Website

VAEngineering already had a website, but it didn’t had a specific purpuse.

The structure and navigation were refined to make it easier for visitors to understand the company’s services and experience. The website was expanded with pages such as case studies that make the work more concrete, so visitors can read what was done, how, and what the results were.

The website was translated from Dutch into English to support international communication, allowing the same story to work across borders without reinterpretation.

Outreach & landing pages

For outbound communication, we built a few focused pages per sector, such as aerospace and healthcare. The goal was simple: when someone landed there, they immediately understood why VAEngineering might be relevant for their type of work, without needing extra explanation first.

Email outreach followed that same logic. It wasn’t treated as a separate campaign, but as a way to start a conversation with the right context already in place. We rewrote the messages a few times until they sounded like something you’d actually say to another engineer.

Offline touchpoints

At expos and meetings, the existing material didn’t really reflect how VAEngineering actually works.

Business cards and a brochure were developed to reflect the technical nature of the company. The visual language was inspired by electronics and PCB design, making the materials immediately recognizable and aligned with how VAEngineering works in practice.

Results and impact

What are the outcomes of this project?

The result was a more coherent and professional presence across channels. The website got stronger visually and content wise and became easier to navigate and understand, especially for international prospects. Outreach efforts led to more relevant conversations instead of broad, unfocused responses. Offline materials supported recognition and credibility during events.

A strong foundation were built were all channels started telling the same storys.

Reflection

Even in a technical environment where you have limited possibilities and material, you can reach your goals you are building for that brings warm and strong feedback from colleagues, partners, and new prospects.
